A “guardian of peace and security”

This statue outside the United Nations was created to depict a "guardian of peace and security."
According to the United Nations Twitter page:
“A guardian for international peace and security sits on the visitor’s plaza outside #UN Headquarters. The guardian is a fusion of jaguar and eagle and donated by the government of Oaxaca, Mexico. It is created by artists Jacobo and Maria Angeles”
Sidenote: The artists Jacobo and Maria Angeles are well known for their work on the Disney film Coco.
Does this "guardian of peace and security" bring to mind any other description or image?
In Revelation 13, the apostle John is on the island of Patmos and God grants him a vision. John sees a beast rise from the sea. Here is how he describes it.
Revelation 13:1-9
"And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.
4And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?"
5And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words.
6It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling...
7Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given over every tribe and people and language and nation,
8and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.
9If anyone has an ear, let him hear"
This "beast that the Apostle John was shown represents the antichrist, who received power from the "dragon", which is satan. The antichrist will rule the entire world during the Tribulation period.
Notice this beast John sees has:
Feet like a bear
A mouth like a lions'
It will blaspheme God, the word of God, the work of God and the people of God.
As a footnote, notice the UN statue is also painted in the LGBT rainbow colors.
God also granted Daniel a vision, a vision in which he sees four beasts which represent four kingdoms.
One beast was "like a lion and had eagles' wings" (Vs 4)
The second one looked "like a bear" (vs 5) and it was told, "Arise, devour much flesh."
In verse 19, Daniel says
"I desired to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the rest, exceedingly terrifying, with its teeth of iron and claws of bronze, and which devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet."
The fourth beast, or fourth kingdom (The kingdom the antichrist will come out of) is described as having "eyes like the eyes of a man", vs 8
Daniel is given the interpreted of this vision in verse 17.
“These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.’
Daniel is given a vision of the four kingdoms yet to come from his day to the arrival of Jesus the Messian.
The lion with eagle wings parallels the gold head of chapter 2. The lion symbolizes Babylon (Jer. 4:6-7). The focus is centered on its strength and swiftness. In battle, the one who moves the fastest usually wins. Its wings have been clipped.
The second beast looks like a bear. This is the silver breast of Daniel 2; it is the kingdom of Persia. Some of the Persian armies were best described as being “bulky” containing as many as 2 ½ million men. The three ribs “in its mouth between its teeth” symbolize three previously conquered empires. The three major conquests of the Medes and Persians, under the leadership of King Cyrus and his son Cambyses were …
The Lydian kingdom in Asia Minor (546)
The Chaldean Empire, which he annexed in 539
The kingdom of Egypt which Cambyses acquired in 525
The third beast looked like a leopard. Daniel tells us it had “four wings like those of a bird. This beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule.”
Babylon seized power from Assyria in 612 B.C. and lost it to the Medo-Persians in 539. They lost power in 336 to Greece under the leadership of Alexander with an army headed by four generals. The Greek army was not known for its size like Persia, (it only had about 35,000 men) but for its leopard like speed. Between 336 B.C. and 332 B.C. the Greek army marched eastward until it became the master of all lands between the Mediterranean and the modern borders of Afghanistan. The four heads (Generals who divide this world empire after Alexander’s death) were
1. Ptolemy who took Egypt
2. Seleucus who took Syria
3. Cassander who took Macedonia and
4. Lysimachus who took Asia Minor.
More attention is given to the 4th beast than all the rest combined. The fourth beast is “terrifying and frightening and very powerful.”
In Daniel’s vision this fourth beast was uniquely different because it had ten horns. This fourth beast is the Roman Empire which ruled the world for over 700 years (from 250 B.C. to 407 A.D.)
Out of the ruins of Rome (Europe) will come the anti-christ. This man will be a world leader much like Nebuchadnezzar was in Daniel’s day.
The Roman Empire will be brought back together; this time we will call it the European Union. Remember Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Europe were all in the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire was NOT defeated, it simply fell apart, mainly because of internal corruption and drunkenness. No nation conquered Rome; it fell apart into different nations.
John is given a vision of the last beast, the final kingdom, one that is to be revived and close out history. This will be the day when believers will experiend the rapture of the church and the world will head into the seven year Tribulation.
The apostle Paul warned about the coming day which is known as of the day of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5 - The Day of the Lord
“Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”
Please notice how Paul emphasizes that the coming day of the Lord will be a day when those who are not followers of Jesus, who are not believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, will be saying “Peace and Security”.
Now look at this UN statue closely.
It has feet like a bear
It has a mouth like a lions'
It has eyes like a human (Daniel 7)
It has the wings like an eagle (or dragon)
Does it blaspheme God, the word of God, the work of God and the people of God? It is painted in the LGBT rainbow colors.
MOST importantly it represents every tribe and people and language and nation.
AND its purpose is to proclaim peace and security to all nations.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
“While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them.”
Revelation 13:9
"If anyone has an ear, let him hear"
